“There is more safety with Christ in the tempest than without Christ in the calmest waters.”

A year has passed and it was one of the most tempest years and we have crossed over to this side, we said goodbye to the past year and the reason we are safe and sound in this new year is because we did it with Christ. The world went through a storm, we lost our loved ones, we lost legends, we gave our peace and economy to the year, we lost our camaraderie and fellowship the past year, we were locked in our homes, with nothing to do, our world looked like the beginning of a Post-Apocalyptic war movie, the order and calmness we knew died down. Many losing jobs, not being able to graduate, not able to continue their studies, many losing their loved ones and not even getting a chance to see them for one last time. The world knew pain and heartbreak like never before, and that year has passed us. Although after a week of the new year has passed and we still feel the same, and turning over the calendar doesn’t change anything, but still, we have crossed over one of the toughest years of our generation and if you made it out fine, Praise the Lord!

Look around us, a new year starts, a new opportunity arises, a new version of you is born, take with you what the last year taught you and heal from it, grow from it, make yourselves better with it. And always understand how beautiful it is to reach this point, to stand at the beginning of a New Year and to just inhale the life you have been granted. Let this year be Your Year. Let this be the second chance you have been wanting to take, let this year be the answers you have been looking for. Let this New Year consume you, let it guide you and let it give you hope you need to move forward, because today, it begins and you must know that from now on, only the best is to come. And although humanity reached a point where it is hard to believe that, but still let us hope that, what lies ahead of us is glorious than what we lays behind us.

And as we enter into the New Year, we pray this Irish Prayer over each of our lives,

“May the God of surprise and new life, bring you hope this year,

May the sun always shine upon your life, and a rainbow follow each rain.

May the hand of a loved one always be near you and God fill your heart with gladness to cheer and for the days to come, May God hold you in the palm of His hand”

A Blessed 2021 to you and your loved ones!
