“Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine”
Troubles and obstacles is a daily companion of a child of God. It is a part of what makes us the children of God because He tests whom He loves. We know pain because we are loved. It gives a meaning and purpose to our Christian journey. Like singer NF once said, ‘What’s the point of a gun if you can’t aim? What’s the point of blood with no veins? What’s the point of love with no pain?’. Pain and suffering are in every child of God’s life, but it is not the end! Pain is not the end, there is a deliverance at the end of it. That is what makes it beautiful, that’s the beauty of suffering. To know that this trial is not the end, but the beginning of a new realm and a better life. When we understand that, we will be able to dance through the fire.
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there was a very famous painter, who held an art exhibition. People from all around the world came to see the exhibition, his paintings were world known. His masterpiece for that event was a painting of a chess board. The chess pieces were moved, and it was the scene of a Chesses end game. And the title read, ‘Game Over! It is finished!’. People from all around the globe came and was admiring the picture. Days went by, and one fine day a Grandmaster came to see the painting and he stood there looking at the picture for some time and he shouted ‘NO, the game is not over! THE KING HAS ONE MORE MOVE’!
That is one of the most calming things to hear in a Christians life as he goes through the storm. To know that the game is not over, to have that reassurance that the storm won’t sink him, to know that his Master is in control. To know that the King in our lives has one more move! And when that king takes that one move, the world stands still, nations look in awe. When we read the scriptures, we read stories of Bible legends who have watched the king make the move that changed their life around.
Joseph and his brothers thought his life was over when he was sold and was in the prison. But we know what happened when the King made His move, for those of you who don’t, spoiler alert! He became the Prime Minister of Egypt.
When Shadrach and friends were cast into the fire, everyone thought that the game was over, but the King had one more move, and that changed everything,
When Israelites halted in front of the Red Sea, everyone thought that the game was over, but the King had one more move! What happened rest is history.
When you go through a trial or a storm, remember its not the end. The King has one more move. Just wait, and at the right time he will make that move and your life will not be the same again. “The one who called you is faithful, and He will do it.” So, if you are going through something painful, wait for the time, wait for that move and see yourself on the walls of history!
Fall 7 times, stand up 8!
