If you’re older than 5 you can continue reading. Now every child’s greatest happiness is to have a best friend and to spend time with them and as he grows up, he realises the harsh realities of life. We all wish to have a relationship like that 5 year old and we realise it’s not easy.
“It has been said that relationships are the centrepiece of the human experience. Without them, life seems to lose its meaning. Even early in life, we begin to dream of someday finding our soul mates, starting a family, and enjoying time together. Our lives consist of an entire portfolio of various types of relationships. Friends, neighbours, rivals, and even strangers all contribute to the delicate blend of relationships that shape the way we experience life. Needless to say, experiencing a relationship with God is a crucial part of the equation.
But there’s a drawback to all these relationships, and invariably it leads to conflict and problems as we interact with others. Entering into a relationship means giving up the freedom of going it alone. Instead of calling all the shots, we are forced to revise our plans to include the desires of others. Frankly, it’s an ongoing struggle.Your relationship with God is one of the most unique and important things in your life. At a point in your life, you will go through a hard time. Sometimes it is to the point where you start to question everything and wonder why you are in the position that you are in. This is where your relationship with God comes into play.”
Now let’s not just wait for things to go haywire so that we could be friends with the God I Know. The greatest thing for man is to know what the person whom he doesn’t deserve wants to be his friend. And that’s an offer we can’t refuse. You can tell him everything, pour out your heart, vent out your anger, seek his guidance, he shall give you everything you need, he loves you more than you’ll ever love yourself, he knows what you’re going through before you could say it, he died for you, what else do you need in a friend and these are just some of the things that He is! You can never truly fathom who he is. And now this God wants to know you and it’s worth every bit.
He is love personified and he wants to know you and be with you. There’s no other greater news you’ll ever hear in this lifetime. Now you can live your life in peace, knowing that the same hands that holds the star, wants to hold your hand and walk with you through this journey.
Love is when God choosing to know you, despite knowing everything about you.
