Where Are You Christmas? (S4 E2)

“It is our wounds that create in us a desire to reach for miracles. The fulfillment of such miracles depends on whether we let our wounds pull us down or lift us up towards our dreams.”

The waiting for Christmas continues and we need it more than ever. We need Healing more than ever. Nobody can deny the fact that the world is hurt and the people in it are hurting too. Although it sounds scandalous, there is a beauty in hurting. Although the beauty doesn’t manifest when we are going through the hurt it is reveled a little later. Why is there beauty in the hurt? Because we know the healing is coming. The healing that comes after the hurt is the most beautiful. The wound is the place where the Light enters you. Maybe you have been hurt, by people, by words, by circumstances by the changing pace of the world or it could be anything and it feel your whole life doesn’t make sense because of what happened. A good life is a collection of moments, some good and some bad, that ultimately form the puzzle of your life. Don’t judge the whole picture by one piece of the puzzle, but lay your hope in the pieces that have yet to fall in place.

Grief is frightening, painful, overwhelming, and sometimes lonely, yet it’s somehow and sometimes the only way to experience a deeper sense of love, joy, and peace. Your grief is uniquely yours, but it’s intrinsically connected to everyone and everything in this universe. Your heart has infinite depth. Though breaking, it still beats with devotion. Finding yourself in a dark hole of despair means that you’re traveling the depths of your heart, and when you come out on the other side, which you will! Your journey will be marked by a spiritual depth, joy, compassion, and a deeper appreciation of your blessings.

Pain is a pesky part of being human, we’ve learned it feels like a stab wound to the heart, something we wish we could all do without, in our lives here. Pain is a sudden hurt that can’t be escaped. But then we have also learned that because of pain, We can feel the beauty, tenderness, and freedom of healing. Pain feels like a fast stab wound to the heart. But then healing feels like the wind against your face when you are spreading your wings and flying through the air! We may not have wings growing out of our backs, but healing is the closest thing that will give us that wind against our faces.”
