“Hope is being able to see that there is light, despite all of that darkness”
You can take a crayon and break it into how much ever pieces you want, but it will still be colour! That is the life of most Bible legends, they were all broken and crushed by the world, but they never lost what they had in them. Despite being broken, they were still useful. The world may say you are broken and crushed but in the sight of your creator you are still valuable and that is what matters the most.
Do you ever feel that you are not good and that you are too broken down and may be of no use to God? Hey! Remember all the Bible legends you read and try to follow? Well, they had a past. Before being heroes and warriors, they had a not so wonderful past. Abraham was old, Jacob was a liar, Joseph was abused, Moses stuttered, Elijah was suicidal, Job went bankrupt, Gideon was afraid, Jonah ran from God, Rahab was a prostitute, Peter denied Christ, Zacchaeus was a midget, Lazarus was dead! Do you still think God can’t use you?
It’s not over unless he says its over. God built His church, did wonders, made history with broken people, not perfect human beings. If God can change the lives of these people around, then he surely can with yours. All you need to do is, be willing and surrender to him. We may fail, we may mess up but that doesn’t mean he won’t use us. If you ask for forgiveness and surrender, he will change your life around. David was one of the most broken men in Old Testament, but he earned the title ‘Man after My own heart’, In New Testament it was Paul.
It is never over, unless and until He says its over! He will take time, but never give up! Keep your eyes on the sun and you won’t see the shadows. Fix your eyes on the Lord, who can take a broken vessel and make it beautiful and useful. Brokenness is a sign of the end for the world, but that is where God begins his work. Where man’s territory ends Gods begin! It all matters in what you chose to listen to, if you chose to listen to the words of man, then you will surely be discouraged, but if you chose to listen to the words of the Almighty, he’s got things to say to you, work to do on you, glory to shine through you. Without losing hope and giving up, trust and cling on to the Master, because only God can take a broken crayon and make a masterpiece!
Every cloud has a silver lining!
It’s very nice message to me. Thanks. May God use u again for strengthening others.
Good writing dear Joel .
Keep it up!
Nevertheless of the crayons are broken into many pieces it still have the same color!
God will surely build up the broken vessel , if we submit ourselves like a clay in the hands of the potter. And he will make us a ‘masterpiece’
God bless you and wish you all the best.
