Fear, is something that nobody likes and something everybody wants to get rid of, but fail every-time we try. It is that thing that’ll never leave your side though you hate it. Fear defeats more people than anything else in the world. Now, the God I know is bigger than your fears and it is interesting to live a life loving the one who’s above your fears.
Have you ever been in a situation where you are faced with your fear and you needed help, and you asked whether subconsciously or maybe out loud, you’re in a situation and you ask: Where in the world am I going to get the help I need? How am I going to overcome this fear? These are all questions that run through our mind.
Ever noticed that book your Christian friend carries with him on a Sunday? If you take it up and open and go through it, it contains stories of people who has faced fears and who were confused on what to do and their stories turn out to have a beautiful ending. They faced fear and then they welcomed God in their lives and everything turned out well. The same book talks about God calming the storm and telling the wind to calm down. And now we’ve all been in places that seemed terrifying and not knowing what to do. We’ve all been there before. Now if the God I know can calm the raging ocean, you think he can’t take care of your fears? He’s beyond your fears. If the God I know can alter the very laws of nature, I believe He can help you with your problems! There is no storm too big for God to handle!
Being afraid can be scary. It reveals our insecurities, telling us we are alone and validating our fears. But with God, emptiness doesn’t equal loneliness. It’s not that life no longer has difficulties, but that those difficulties are nothing to fear and that we can remain confident in God in the midst of them. He keeps us vibrant and useful even when we don’t feel that way and when everything around us is against us, the God I know is on your side, comforting you, calming you, telling you that it is all going to be alright. In a culture of misplaced trusts, broken promises, and damaged lives, only Jesus is unshakable, unchangeable, unbreakable, and worthy of all our trust. So if you think that there is a shadow of fear hovering around your life, crippling your very being, turn to the God I know because he is above your fears and he’s the only with an answer
