Maybe you have woken up today thinking, why? Why bother to get up and go out and do life? What’s the point? I get up in the same old bed, again. Eat the same old food, again. Go to the same old place, again. Meet the same old people, again. Come back to the same old routine, again. Life goes on and on like a movie that is stuck on one scene. Life gets mundane, life becomes a fairytale written by a 5-year-old, half a page of something and then, the end.
It’s tough at times to find purpose in this life. You search for it but it eludes our eyes. A mistake that we do many times is that in our quest to find purpose we look for the wrong things, “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” We are focused on the wrong thing many a times.
The reason you are placed where you are placed is a result of a divine choice. You are not where you are by accident, the one who makes the move, didn’t make an oopsie which made you land up where you are, He did it so you can be somebody somewhere. Your life is exactly the way it is because of you. You truly are the because. The same old people meet you every day, for a reason, you have the same routine every day for a reason. You are the purpose somebody else is seeking. We live life forgetting the fact that we are here for a reason and the moment we understand that there is a reason for my existence and that I am here to matter, you become somebody else, you become who you were made to be. You become the reason somebody else finds a purpose.
“It’s not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something.” What are we living for today? What gets us going? If we take a conscious effort to stop and understand the purpose for which I am here, then life gets to be a journey filled with wonders, the people you come across start to make more magical moments because each step taken in the direction of your glorious purpose is better than the last. And time only makes it all the more memorable
Each day we have is a privilege and each moment we look around and understand that I am the reason somebody found a purpose and things happen around me because of me, life gets all the more graceful
