The Way Back Home

“There are a thousand ways to kneel and Kiss the ground, there are a thousand ways to go home again”

The way back home is often the most forgotten. After a point in life, after a lot of achievements, both small and large we tell ourselves of who we’ve become and where we have come in life, the hurdles we have gone through, the blood, sweat and tears that paved the way to this greatness of life. It elevates us to a place of happiness and for some it may knock you over to a place of condescension. The mixing of pride and a supercilious attitude is one that leads you down a dark path, from which often the come back is very painful and a long and arduous process. To keep one in constant check to not fall into that path is more and more getting needful these days. A world that puts its mind on the things ahead and barely on the things that made us who we are is a painful place to be.

When the worry of making it in the world, when the pain of being somebody in a world that is pushing you to be maybe more than you can be or more than what you need to be and at one point the pressure just won’t and at those moments of doubt it is important to go back to the start. Home isn’t just the building you grew up in, it is who you are, it is why you do the things you do; it is why you set out to accomplish the things you did. And when the world just gets overwhelming, like it just wont quit without breaking your spirit, just get home. Get back to the place that began this journey, to the purpose of this fight, we got to go back home. It ain’t geographical, it ain’t architectural it is purely the beginning of the journey. The reason for making it in life. Simply the “why I do what I do”. To refine the mind, to restart the reason of going and just taking the gold.

For when the end of life approaches it is important to have achieved everything you have set out to, but it is more important to have the truth within yourself intact, protected against all the sullying of a world which doesn’t share that with you.  Because after all it is all about the reason to keep going and the reason to begin it all. It matters the most why you did it rather than the how. And the why is found back home, the why is found where life and this journey began.

Home is where our story begins
