Sometimes we can’t help but wonder, Does God really love me? Even when I feel unloved and unlovable? Even when I really mess up? What if I do something that’s really bad and everybody runs away from me, will he too run away?
The world runs away at the first sight of distress or trouble, but there is a God who stays back for you, not just being there but helping you out from whatever it is that you’re going through.
There’s nothing too big for God, there’s no storm too big he can’t calm, there’s no brokenness to deep that he can’t mend, there’s no loneliness too depressing that he can’t befriend, there’s no question too big that he can’t answer and there’s no life too lost that he can’t save.
If it was up to me I wouldn’t probably consider myself for anything, because we know deep inside how messed up we are. We are all lost causes, a giant mess, but still God chose to stay back for us. The world won’t stay back for you because they don’t love you like he does, they don’t know you like he does, and more importantly they can’t help you like he can.
We live in a chaotic and uncertain world. Events confront us that can make us question: how can I know God and what is His plan for me, today? How can I Know for sure that he is going to be with me while I go through this? Even in the most troubled times you can be sure of these things
We live in His glorious presence every moment of every day. When we are alone, God watches what we do. When we do something good that nobody else knows about, God sees it and will reward us accordingly.
Yet God’s magnificent presence is all we need for any challenge that may come our way. No person or circumstance can ever remove us from the presence of our loving God. He is always with us, hearing our cries for help. He is always with us, protecting us from danger. He is always with us, watching what we do. He is our ever-present God, Savior, Lord, and Master who is our dearest friend. And there’s nothing more comforting than to know that despite my unworthiness there is a God who loves me enough to stay back for me even when the whole world walks away
