Shukran 2021, Namaste 2022

You can get excited about the future. The past won’t mind.

This year we did not just live 365 days. This year we fought 365 battles. Some of it, we lost but again some of it we won. Some days were a piece of cake but some days were a nightmare. We learned that we cannot rise unless we fall. We had to get hurt to feel the healing. Life had to be painful for us to feel happy. This year was a year of spiritual awakening, the year shook us, made us question our beliefs, it either made us run the other way or rooted us more into the truth we hold on to. We realized that not everything matters in life, the harsh reality of how we put our faith in priorities in the wrong places hit us like a wrecking ball. But we had to learn that not all things matter because it showed us what truly did and taught us to hold on to it. This year we went to war with ourselves but most importantly, this year we survived.

This year took a lot from us but it also gave us a lot, now we can either keep living in the self-wallowing of the losses of last year or we can live in the gratitude of what the year gave us. A tip, living in gratitude is much easier that living in regret. The regrets eat away our every being, our thoughts, our dreams, our passion, our very interest to live but the gratitude attitude is what we need to go forward, to pursue what our heart desires, to make a change in this world, to live life to the fullest and to have a year that may have its ups and downs but will always be a year you faced with everything you got, it may bring bad memories and along the way some good ones might also pop up, but nothing can take away from you the fact that it was a year that you faced with gratitude, which triggers a sense of happiness and joy that nothing else can give.

“May Light always surround you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your Hurts turn to Healing;
Your Heart embrace Feeling.
May Wounds become Wisdom;
Every Kindness a Prism.
May Laughter infect you;
Your Passion resurrect you.
May Goodness inspire
your Deepest Desires.
Through all that you Reach For,
May your arms Never Tire.”

In gratitude and thanksgiving for the year that was, In Hope and Anticipation for the year to be. A Happy and Blessed 2022!
