Make a change, make the world a better place today!
Because tomorrow could be one day too late
These are not just the words from John Cooper. It is also something that one needs to live by every day. Everyone is busy, so busy that we don’t usually get things done when we want. We all are busy climbing that ladder towards greatness, and we don’t know what we will do to climb it faster, and then we reach on the top and then we wonder what we even climbed after? Everyone is busy doing things for themselves every day, we don’t have time to do good to others. That is always for tomorrow, we want to make a difference, help out somebody in need and make this world a better place, we all really want to, but we’ll do it tomorrow. But remember, tomorrow never comes.
There isn’t a single thing in this world that’s made better by starting tomorrow. Newton’s first law states that “A body in motion tends to stay in motion”, it’s a very simple statement, but the potential it has to change one’s life around is vast. Similarly, it is not completely wrong to say that “A body at rest tends to rest (in peace).” If you’re not moving, you’re dead. Please don’t be dead. The world needs you fully alive. There are things around us that need to be looked upon, changes that need to be made. We may call it random acts of kindness, paying it forward, or good deeds, but it cannot just a simple ‘deed’, they are very powerful. Something powerful enough to change the world around us. That is why almost every religion and culture value and rewards the performance of good deeds. Benefits to doing good deeds are numerous, some of these benefits may be obvious, while you may not have considered some of the others. Other than helping someone, doing a good deed warms your own heart and makes you feel good. Doing a good deed gives us a new perspective and keeps us from focusing on our own problems. By focusing on someone other than yourself, you are reminded that you are not the only one in the world that has problems.
While we live our lives in ignorance, something that we often forget is that we have a world to conquer, we have broken hearts to heal, we have the poor to feed, we have the orphan to love, we have walls to break and bigger tables to build, we have tears to wipe, we have a World to Change!
All you must do is, Move Now! Because tomorrow could be one day too late.
