Calvary’s Cavalry (S7 E3)

“Jesus, the divine artist, paints redemption on the canvas of sinners’ souls, turning their flaws into masterpieces with the brushstrokes of His boundless love.”

Jesus, the heart of boundless love, seeks the lost, the broken, the ones society scorns as the worst of sinners. His love does not falter at the edge of human failure; it plunges deeper, into the shadows where shame and guilt fester. To the thief on the cross, gasping for breath, Jesus offered paradise, not condemnation. To the woman caught in adultery, trembling before a crowd eager to stone her, He spoke words of mercy: “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” His gaze, piercing yet tender, sees not the stains of sin but the soul crying for redemption.

Consider the tax collectors, reviled as traitors, yet Jesus dined with them, sharing bread and laughter. Even the one who was small in stature and heavy with greed, climbed a tree to glimpse Him, and Jesus called him by name, entering his home and his heart. The worst sinners those who cheated, betrayed, or wandered far from righteousness, were not outcasts to Him but beloved children, each one worth pursuing. His love is not a reward for the righteous; it is a gift for the wrecked, a beacon for those drowning in their own darkness.

Oh, how His heart aches for the prodigals, the ones who squander their inheritance in reckless living! Even when he said he is the one who would go for the 1 lost sheep, it reveals His relentless pursuit, He leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, the sinner deemed worthless by the world. And when He finds them, there is no scorn, only joy, He carries them home, their weight a delight on His shoulders. The father in the story of the prodigal son runs, robes flapping, to embrace the child who stank of pigs and failure. No matter what pop culture wants you to think of the leader of the church, the truest beauty is, This is Jesus, running to the worst, His arms wide, His eyes brimming with tears of reunion.

To the sinner who feels too far gone, Jesus whispers, “I came for you.” His cross stands as proof, He bore the weight of every sin, every shame, to claim the one nobody would care about. No one is too vile, too broken, too lost. His love is fierce, unyielding, a fire that burns through the darkest deeds to warm the coldest heart. He is Love! The kind of love that would look His betrayer in his eye and would call him friend, who would embrace his friend who sold him and had him killed in the most horrific way for a few silver coins, who would kiss the one who stabbed him in the back. That is love, not what the world tells or shoes, the true one the divine showed.

The Moment still stands, for you, my friend!
