The Teacher

Jesus came into the world not to condemn it but to illuminate it with the light of God’s love. He showed us that love transcends all barriers of race, class, and creed and that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our world needs it more than ever. It needs a little more love because right now we are covered by a smoke of despise around us, nobody wants to see eye to eye, everybody on opposite sides, not realising that love is what will bridge the gap.
In every step he took, Jesus demonstrated that love is patient, love is kind. It is not boastful or proud, but humble and enduring. He touched the untouchable, ate with the rejected, and spoke words of life to the brokenhearted. Through his stories, he painted vivid pictures of a love that forgives debts, leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, and rejoices over the return of the lost. When Jesus faced betrayal, injustice, and death, he response was not vengeance but with forgiveness, a little something the world needs to know right now. The path of love isn’t filled with stones of anger and revenge, it is filled with the beauty of love, and the baby born on Christmas Day was the greatest teacher who ever taught us that. On the cross, with arms stretched wide, he embraced the whole world in love, praying even for those who crucified him.
His resurrection was not just a triumph over death but a triumph of love over hate, of light over darkness. The world is defeated right now, in hate, completely submerged in a pool of detestation for each other and yes it may sound like the glass is half empty and in some cases, the glass is broken by anger. But it is never too far gone, it is never too lost, that is the beauty of this teacher, this child grew up to be someone who embraced love like no other and he was so full of love, that he had enough to give to all of humanity, it is much more than a allegorical cup can hold, it is much more than a data storage can hold, it is much more than any invention can beat, it is simply love in its purest form. The love that took the shape of a crib also took the shape of a cross.
Jesus calls us still, whispering to our hearts to follow him on this path of radical, selfless love. To love as he loved is to bring heaven to earth, one act of compassion, one moment of grace at a time. Through him, we learn that love is the essence of life, the heartbeat of creation, and the bridge that unites us with the eternal.
