“The Magic you’re looking for is hiding in the work you’re avoiding”

The touch of a ball, the symphony of an orchestra, a wizard at his art, a painter with his brush or a master thespian at his stage and we all join together when we say, Magical. It’s just magic. But this word covers a lot of essence and truth of the process that goes behind it. Nobody sees what happens before it happens and the beauty of success lies in those moments. There is nothing like magic, unless you’re a ten year that hasn’t met the world and its cruel mistress.

The world convinces us that anyone can be super successful, but most people won’t. Because most people think success has to do with talent or skill. It has so little to do with that. It’s really mostly just about working on it. Constantly. With conviction, just going at it. Many times we see those who are successful and get intimidated. “I could never do that. I wish my skill level was high enough.” But it’s really not about that. It’s about doing something with whatever talent you have. Many of the most successful folks out there are only mediocre in talent. But they’re excellent in consistently working towards it. We don’t see that side of things. We just see the flash of brilliance that resulted from the hard work.

If the world only needed talent, there would be so few people reaching the heights of success, it needs much more than that and that is where most of fail. It is easy to be blinded by the glitz and the glamour of those who’ve made it but the reality of those who are going hard it, without giving up, just giving their blood sweat and tears, that simply isn’t a pretty sight but what follows is what everybody stays awake to see.

To quote The Life of Tao, “Look to your right. It is the path back home. If you choose, you can take it. It is safe, easy, and comfortable. You do not have to work out or fight or do anything else you do not want to Or you can keep moving forward. I will not lie to you. I cannot predict what may become of you. It will require a lot of training, hard work, study, and danger. But in the very end, you will know strength. I swear it. You might just become someone who will make a difference in the world” It’s easy to see it as just a magic and call it quits but it takes a special someone to see beyond it. To see the life that could be without the cover of a magical idea

“Don’t wish it were easier. Wish you were better”
