Call it Grace

“The meaning of life. The wasted years of life. The poor choices of life. God answers the mess of life with one word, ‘grace.’”

The world looks at it as a failed attempt, the world looks at it as a man who wanted to but couldn’t, tomorrows looked back at it like the ruins of a yesteryear but we look at it as beauty, we look at it as the man who’s not alone, we look at it as the ashes on which the glory of tomorrow is built. World calls it what it wants but we call it Grace. God’s Grace. The reason I move on, the purpose of my very being, the truth behind my existence and the glory behind my future.

The story of grace includes a broad range of characters from rich, poor, powerful, and powerless. For all of them, it is God’s grace that tips the scale in their favour. In some ways these stories are our stories. For like the individuals who populate the pages of Scripture, we, too, need grace. But not just any grace. The grace of God. It baffles the world, it infuriates the enemy, simply, how can it be? An answer the world has been looking for since forever but there simply is no equation that solves it, no ideology that can explain it. It is simply who He is. And his grace cannot be explained it is to be enjoyed. It’s not to be questioned, it’s to be lived in. It’s not to be distanced on account of our unworthiness but received on account of our sonship. It is in the most simplest of sense what He does and who He is. What it needs is not another doubter, what it needs is another son. The Grace of God still looks for receivers.

And the world awaits this phenomenon, something they don’t know that they need but something that will change their very existence once they’ve come close to it. And the world only knows it when the ones who have it, talk about it. The ones who’ve gotten it sing about it, the ones who bask in its glory invites others to it. The world can call it folly, deem it to be a myth or write it off as the doings of a group of people who’ve lost it in the head, the world can call it what it wants but we call it Grace. Because we know what it is and what it can do. We know who He is and what He can do. And who knows it better than the ones who know it.

By Grace. Through Grace.
