“God has a beautiful way of bringing good vibrations out of broken chords”
Have you ever looked into your life and thought that you were so broken down that you’re useless. You think you’re scarred from some previous trauma or the brokenness that you’re going through. And you say, ‘What good can come out of me?’ Everybody has at least once in their life thought about this and if you think you haven’t, think again. And now meet the God I Know. The One I know, uses your brokenness. The God I Know will take your brokenness and make it into something beautiful.
The book your Christian friends carry is filled with stories of people who were broken and useless. But they turned out to be history makers because the God I Know, knows his way around brokenness. “The reason brokenness is beautiful is because of how God can use it in our lives. It is something that can draw us near to Him. Brokenness can make room for a contrite heart and repentance to bring us back into fellowship with Him when we have miserably failed. It is not lovely in and of itself, it is not the end of the journey, it is not a cute hashtag to put on a picture of a dirty house. It’s not a word to use when you want to feel “authentic”. Standing alone, it is messy and sad. No, the beauty in spiritual brokenness is found in where it brings us.” And that’s right to the God I Know.
We may be broken down to a point of no return. Yet, these broken places is what God wants. In the cracks, chips and crevices of our souls is where his glory shines through in our lives! Whether or not we come from, A broken home, A broken past, A broken marriage, A single mom broken from a painful relationship, A broken body, A broken and weak will, A broken heart, A faith shattered and broken, Finances broken to the point of bankruptcy, Broken and damaged children. Our brokenness maybe different and critical, but your friends may not know it, those around you may not be able to help you out, but there’s hope.
If you ever feel that you are not good and that you are too broken down and may be of no use to God? Hey! Remember all the Bible legends your Christian friends read and try to follow? Well, they had a past. Before being heroes and warriors, they had a not so wonderful past. Abraham was old, Jacob was a liar, Joseph was abused, Moses stuttered, Elijah was suicidal, Job went bankrupt, Gideon was afraid, Jonah ran from God, Rahab was a prostitute, Peter denied Christ, Zacchaeus was a midget, Lazarus was dead! Do you still think God can’t use you?
So if you think you’re broken and in no condition to be used for anything good, trust in the God I Know, only He can take brokenness and turn it into beauty. Only the God I Know can make beauty out of ashes
